Two Noble Kinsman - Evansville Shakespeare Players' 15th Annual Shakespeare in the Park

Image promoting "The Two Noble Kinsmen" by Shakespeare & Fletcher, with a laurel-wreathed face and Greek statue on the side.

6:30pm Showtime

Two best friends, knights at arms, find themselves captured in battle and thrown into prison. From their window, they catch a glimpse of a beautiful woman, and in an instant, both of them fall head over heels for her! Just like that, their friendship turns into a friendly rivalry.  What follows is a whirlwind of romantic misadventures, mistaken identities, and laugh-out-loud twists as love leads everyone on an unpredictable—and delightful—journey.

Rarely produced, TWO NOBLE KINSMEN is thought to be one of Shakespeare’s final works. Based on Chaucer’s THE KNIGHT’S TALE, this is a play not to be missed!
