Genealogy & Local History

The Genealogy and Local History Department was founded in 1976.  Since that time, it has grown in both size and reputation.  Each year we are honored to welcome visitors from all over the United States, and even the world.

The staff of the Genealogy and Local History Department is eager to assist you as you pursue knowledge about your family's history.   We encourage you to obtain a Willard Public Library Card (free to all who live, work, or attend school in Indiana) so that you can take full advantage of our offerings, which includes home access to many genealogy databases.   We would love to meet you and assist you in person.  You can find us on the second floor of the library.
