2:00  Beyond the Tree - Vickie

You've done the research, you've got a tree filled out, or at least in progress, but what do you do with all these documents?  How do you store them so that you can find them again?  What about the people who aren't on the tree, but you still want to include?  We will talk about all of these topics, and you will be given ideas and examples of how to organize your research.

4:00  Online Research : Exact vs General Searches  How Specific Should You Be?  - Stan

In recent years the amount of available genealogical information has increased exponentially. The digitization of scattered previously unavailable records has given researchers access to numerous newspapers, government and church records. However, this information is of little use unless it is easily searchable. To use this new information OCR is a major search tool. Some of us have become somewhat spoiled in our research and dependent on the work of others. We want to find all the information quickly, with the least amount of work. But have you found EVERYTHING or have you missed alternate search sources? This program will take a look at how genealogists should be searching websites in a simple and thorough way. Things that you might be missing or did not think of.
