🐣 Annual Egg Tree Contest 🌸

For the first time ever, both children AND adults can participate!

Spring has sprung—and that means it’s time for our Annual Egg Tree Contest! We invite children, and now adults, to get creative and decorate an egg to be proudly displayed on our Egg Tree located on the first floor of the library.

📌 HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  • Pick up a craft egg from the Either the Adult Services Department or the Children’s Department (while supplies last), or bring your own egg—either hollowed out or made from craft materials.
  • Decorate your egg to fit into a catergory.
  • Return the eggs to to the corresponding departments.
  • Submit your entry by Friday, April 3rd.
  • All decorated eggs will be displayed on our Egg Tree, and winners will be announced the following week!

  • Scrambled Eggs (ages 0–3)
  • Most Artistic 
  • Character 

🏆ADULT CONTEST CATEGORIES

  • Most Artistic
  • Character 

📜 CONTEST RULES

  • One entry per patron.
  • Please keep designs family-friendly and decorative materials safe (no sharp objects). 
  • Children must complete all decorating themselves when entering an egg into one of the 3 child catergories, to ensure fairness.
  • All eggs must be able to hang. 

THIS IS A WONDERFUL WAY TO EXPRESS YOUR CREATIVITY AND CELEBRATE THE SEASON. WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YOUR EGG-CELLENT CREATIONS!
