Embrace a piece of southwestern Indiana's history as Ivy Clark, Executive Director of the Newburgh Museum, presents "Museum Moving Up."

The Moving Up initiative began in Fall 2025, leading to a 1/3 expansion of the facility and a six-month renovation with the official grand reopening on May 15th, 2026. From improving the overall facility and creating a larger archive, to steps of upgrading digital archival technologies, it has allowed for the expansion of exhibitions, educational programs, event space, and optimized the potential within the Newburgh Museum.

Join the Southwestern Indiana Historical Society (SWIHS) on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September- November and February-May at 6:30 PM in Willard Library's Browning Gallery! Dive into the past as local experts bring our heritage to life.
