Embrace a piece of southwestern Indiana's history as Dr. Daniel Byrne, Professor of History at the University of Evansville, presents “Counterculture in United States History.”

American history is replete with people who have gone against the grain of “main stream” American culture.  Dr. Byrne’s talk with review various groups and individuals in the 250 years of American history as they challenged norms, altered cultural paths, and engaged in the celebration of cultural liberty. 

Join the Southwestern Indiana Historical Society (SWIHS) on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from September- November and February-May at 6:30 PM in Willard Library's Browning Gallery! Dive into the past as local experts bring our heritage to life.
